Andrew Edwards is the owner of A1 Optics LLC. A company he started in 2020 to provide
telecommunication services that specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of
cutting-edge fiber optic networks. With Andrew’s own robust background in telecommunications
and electrical wiring, he ensures that all A1 Optic technicians bring a wealth of knowledge and
expertise to every project they undertake.
Andrew was born and raised in Greenville, MS. As a young adult Andrews passion for
telecommunication began at Holmes Community College, where he graduated with a
certification in electrical wiring. At Copiah Lincoln Community College, Andrew expanded his
knowledge and expertise in telecommunication by gaining additional certification specializing in
fiber splicing. His dedication to his field of work and service excellence is further reflected in his
licensure with the Mississippi Board of Contractors for Telecommunications.
Andrew has over 20+ years’ experience and a proven track record in the telecommunications
industry. Throughout his career, Andrew has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities,
serving as a mentor to new hires and peers alike. He exhibits strong communication skills and
excels in providing superior customer service, resolving technical issues promptly and
efficiently. In addition to Andrew exhibiting expertise in various areas of telecommunication his
dedication to quality and safety has earned him a reputation for reliability and professionalism in
the field.
